Hal Ellms
During the 40 years Hal has been involved in the outdoor industry, he has covered a lot of ground. Beginning in 1982 on a retail sales floor, he moved on to management, buying, and outdoor education. In 1995 he settled in as a rep and has been at it ever since. Hal lives with his family in central Vermont and enjoys telemark skiing, mountain biking, and hiking.
Sarah Maher
Sarah joined the Pinnacle Outdoor Group in 2008. Sarah first discovered the outdoor industry in 2000 as a retail associate. From there, she worked her way into various positions on the wholesale side of the Industry including customer service, sales and technical representative. When Sarah’s not on the road or in the office, she stays busy telemark skiing, rock climbing and mountain biking.
Ben Winther
Ben has worked in the outdoor industry since 1993. He began his career in outdoor education, working with adjudicated youth. For ten years he was involved in the paddle sports industry, eventually becoming an independent rep. He and Hal joined forces in 2005 to start Pinnacle Outdoor Group. Ben lives with his wife and two pugs in New Hampshire and loves, among other things, running, paddling, surfing and eating.
Jason Cote
Jason Cote has been a part of the outdoor industry for more than 20 years. He first found his passion for the outdoors when he hiked the Appalachian Trail in 1996. From there, he got a seasonal job at EMS and would eventually go on to manage several locations. Jason is an avid backpacker, canoer, and dabbles in telemark skiing as well as mountain biking. Originally from Massachusetts, he now lives with his wife and two dogs in Connecticut.
